BRING ME YOUR WEAKNESS

BRING ME YOUR WEAKNESS, and receive My Peace. Accept yourself and your circumstances just as they are, remembering that I am sovereign over everything. Do not wear yourself out with analyzing and planning. Instead, let thankfulness and trust be your guides through this day; they will keep you close to Me.
As you live in the radiance of My Presence, My Peace shines upon you. You will cease to notice how weak or strong you feel, because you will be focusing on Me. The best way to get through this day is step by step with me. Continue this intimate journey, trusting that the path you are following is headed for heaven .
Numbers 6:24-26 “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”

praise to my God while I have my being.
This is not to say that we should not analyze, plan and work hard to get through our days. It does mean that we should focus first on God’s presence and being in harmony with God’s will. And when we are in communion with God, walking God’s path, then we will have true peace about ourselves and our circumstances.
This also does not mean that we will become perfect or live in a perfect world. It means we will live in perfect peace, regardless of what the world throws at us. This is living in Eden.

EVERY TIME
Posted in Uncategorized, tagged faith. spiritual, peace on November 4, 2014| 1 Comment »
EVERY TIME something thwarts your plans or desires, use that as a reminder to communicate with me. This practice has several benefits. The first is obvious. Talking with Me blesses you and strengthens our relationship.
Another benefit is that disappointments, instead of dragging you down, are transformed into opportunities for good. This transformation removes the sting from difficult circumstances, making it possible to be joyful in the midst of adversity.
Begin by practicing this discipline in all the little disappointments of daily life. It is often these minor setbacks that draw you away from My Presence. When you reframe setbacks as opportunities, you find that you gain much more than you have lost.
It is only after much training that you can accept major losses in this positive way. But it is possible to attain the prospective of the apostle Paul, who wrote: Compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus, I consider everything I once treasured to be as insignificant as rubbish.
Colossians 4:2 Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.
Philippians 3:7-8 But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ.
This is how defeat is swallowed up in victory. Turning to God, and turning things over to God, gives us the ability to see the blessings hidden in pain and to turn them into opportunities and victories. Regardless of the circumstances, God can and will turn any circumstance into a cause for joy and celebration.
This peace is not immediate and the ability to live this way takes practice, commitment to God and discipline. But practiced consistently, it is the key to “rejoicing in all things”.Isn’t that what peace really is?

YOU WILL NOT FIND MY PEACE
Posted in Uncategorized, tagged faith. spiritual, peace on November 3, 2014| Leave a Comment »
YOU WILL NOT FIND MY PEACE by engaging in excessive planning: attempting to control what will happen to you in the future. That is a commonly practiced form of unbelief. When your mind spins with multiple plans, Peace may sometimes seem to be within your grasp; yet it always eludes you. Just when you think you have prepared for all possibilities, something unexpected pops up and throws things into confusion.
I did not design the human mind to figure out the future. That is beyond your capability. I crafted your mind for continual communication with Me. Bring Me all your needs, your hopes and fears. Commit everything into my care. Turn from the path of planning to the path of peace.
1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Proverbs 16:9 In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps.
Psalm 37:5 NKJV Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.

While we humans do need to plan and set goals in our lives, these things will not bring us peace. They may quieten our anxiety about the future with false security that we have it covered. However, it is only in following God’s plans that we open the door to true peace.
If we make our plans according to God’s will, and subject to those plans to accommodate God’s guidance, then they can be helpful exercises that serves to bring us some comfort. However, comfort in the moment is not peace.
True peace can only be found in sublimating our will and our plans to God’s. Then we can see the Eden God created for us and live in it in peace, joy and hope each day.
Christ’s peace to you,

RECEIVE MY PEACE

RECEIVE MY PEACE. It is My continual gift to you. The best way to receive this gift is to sit quietly in My Presence, trusting Me in every area of your life.Quietness and trust accomplish far more than you can imagine: no only in you, but also on earth and in heaven. When you trust Me in a given area, you release that problem or person into My care.
Spending time alone with Me can be a difficult discipline because it goes against the activity addiction of this age. You may be appear to be doing nothing, but actually you are participating in battles going on within spiritual realms. You are waging war—not with the weapons of this world, but with heavenly weapons, which have divine power to demolish strongholds. Living close to Me is a sure defense against evil.
Scriptures to read: John 14:27; Isaiah 30:15; 2 Corinthians 10:4.
