“We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea. We are far too easily pleased.
Though I do not believe (I wish I did) that my desire for Paradise proves that I shall enjoy it, I think it a pretty good indication that such a thing exists and that some men will.” C.S. Lewis
Our sensory perception focused existence, and the physical experience of living it, masks our higher perception and draws a veil between us and infinite joy. This sensory existence commands our focus and fills every part of our being with sensation.
When we shift our focus to the spiritual and lift our eyes above the merely visual, we reveal the spiritual reality. Lifting the veil of our physical senses allows us to see clearly the infinite joy that exists now in the Eden God created for us.
Looking up,
Z gardener
